North Star Group is partnering with the Alaska Municipal League to organize a panel on Tribal Governance at the 71st Annual Local Government Conference from November 15th-16th, 2021. This year’s conference will be primarily physical, with many of the sessions being streamed online as well. RSVP for the conference today!

- What challenges were confronted, addressed and overcome in the writing and adoption of agreements between municipal and tribal governments?
- What can be done to ensure the agreements between municipal and tribal governments are long-lasting and can be sustained and followed over extended periods of time?
- What are the main points, factors and items that need to be addressed in establishing and following a municipal-tribal governance and consultation process?
- What do you see as the future for municipal-tribal governance agreements in Alaska?
- Through what process and methods can public support be developed and built in the community at large for municipal-tribal governance agreements?
