Alaska Mining Day: 80th Anniversary Kick-Off Party

May 10 marks the sixth annual Alaska Mining Day, established “to recognize and honor the intrepid individuals and industry that played an enormous role in settling and developing the territory and the state and that continue to contribute to the economy of the state.”
2019’s Alaska Mining Day is unique as it is also AMAs 80th Anniversary. AMA was established in 1939 and serves as one of Alaskas oldest trade organizations.
On Friday, May 10, 2019, help us kick-off AMAs 80th anniversary with a celebration that increases awareness about AMA and celebrates our members. AMA will be partnering with Matanuska Brewing Company, located in mid-town Anchorage, and will have Ken Peltier and band playing live along with Alaskan-themed appetizers, signature mining beers, as well as a specialty cocktail. Event Starts at 4:00 p.m. and ends at 7:00 p.m.
