Conservation vs Development: A Tale from North Alaska

On behalf of Polar Research and Policy Initiative, Thomson Reuters Foundation, Arctic Today and UCL Institute of Risk and Disaster Reduction, we are pleased to invite you to an evening on Conservation vs Development: A Tale from North Alaska at Senate House, University of London, from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm on 21 May 2019.
The evening will feature a screening of the film Eskimo, Inc., followed by a panel discussion with the filmmaker Max Baring of Thomson Reuters Foundation; Alice Rogoff, Publisher and Editorial Director of Arctic Today; Dr Ilan Kelman, Reader at the UCL Institute of Risk and Disaster Reduction at University College London; and Dr Dwayne Ryan Menezes, Founder and Managing Director of Polar Research and Policy Initiative. The evening will also include a drinks reception.

The event is hosted by Polar Research and Policy Initiative, in partnership with the Thomson Reuters Foundation, Arctic Today, UCL Institute of Risk and Disaster Reduction, and the Institute of Commonwealth Studies, School of Advanced Study, University of London.

Tickets are £27.50 (excl. Eventbrite fees) per head and include the screening, discussion and reception with wine and snacks
