The mid-terms are over and a divided Congress will now determine our legislative future. Paired with a White House entering the last two years of its term while ramping up for campaign season, what does 2019 and beyond hold for economic developers?
Beyond the rhetoric, economic developers are still utilizing programs across dozens of federal agencies. Some, like EDA, continue their decades-long missions while adapting to new demands, while others, like Opportunity Zones, are presenting new mechanisms for economic opportunity.
